WUD 2026 / Design Talks – Where does innovation actually start?

Innovation is often framed as the end result—new products, technologies, or solutions. But what if we step back and ask: where does it truly begin?

In this talk, I will explore innovation from both a philosophical and experiential perspective, examining the mindset, curiosity, and context that give rise to transformative ideas. Drawing on philosophical insights and real-world experiences, we will uncover the often-overlooked origins of innovation and challenge conventional assumptions about how ideas are born and nurtured.
