Get to know Estonian design studios located in ARS Art Factory. The guided tour will take you to four studios that will showcase some of their best work and gladly answer any questions you might have. This is a rare opportunity to get an accurate insight into the way things work within the Estonian design community. This tour will also contain an introductory seminar by the ARS Art Factory itself.

ARS: inspiration, innovation and tradition since 1975! ARS Art Factory, which belongs to the Estonian Artists' Association, is the largest art creation center in Estonia, where today there are more than a hundred artists, designers and creative companies. ARS combines modern and historical, advanced practices and technology with fresh ideas and master skills of Estonian professional art. ARS supports the professional development, entrepreneurship and internationalization of creators and is a meeting place for both art professionals and those interested. From Monday to Friday 12-18, you can see exhibitions and buy works of art at the ARS Art Factory, as well as work in workshops, rent rooms and order art workshops. In the ARS Art Gallery, Showroom and Gallery 125, as well as in the e-shop pood.arsfactory.ee, you will find a carefully curated selection of works by professional artists and designers: ceramics, glass, jewelery, bindings and accessories, paintings, graphics and photographic art.


Unt/Tammik

Unt / Tammik is a design studio with a creative solution for every project. We are focused on branding, film graphics, editorial design and art projects – no task is too easy, no solution too complicated. The studio consists of designers Eva Unt, Margus Tammik and chief Kai Laurits.

Unt / Tammik has been operating as a studio since the beginning of 2019, but the duo Eva Unt and Margus Tammik has been cooperating in various project configurations since 2011.

Unt / Tammik has been recognized with various domestic awards, including Golden, Silver and Bronze, Estonian Design Awards, and the annual award of the Estonian Association of Interior Architects. In 2019, Unt / Tammik won Grand Prix at the International Biennial Poster Design Competition Terras Gauda - Francisco Mantecon 2019. 


IKIGI

IKIGI bindery is a design studio where the customer is heard and thought along with. Its team is devoted to finding innovative solutions and adding extra value. The bindery is located in the ARS Art Factory. All IKIGI resourceful handmade paper products are made there and this is where workshops on the subjects are being held.  



Julia Valtanen
Julia Valtanen on Behance

Julia Valtanen is graphic designer and illustrator, based in Tallinn, since 2016. Julia graduated with a Master degree in graphic design in 2011. She was working as a graphic designer in agencies in Saint-Petersburg for several years. Right now she is working as a freelance designer  in her studio at Ars-i maja and collaborating with local agencies as well. Main focus of her work is branding and illustration. She also creates her own products such as interior posters and products for kids.

Dint is a graphic design studio consisting of a group of girls who are fascinated by information design. Our goal in case of every design project is to be on the side of the customer and make information understandable for them.
